Each tab provides library resources for program reviews. On each review page, you will find electronic and print resources related to the program.

Library Resources

The Arthur A. Houghton, Jr. Library subscribes to nearly 100 databases that include more than 80,000 journal titles. Digital access to these resources is available 24/7 and covers a wide variety of subject areas. A few examples include Academic OneFile [Gale], Academic Search Complete [EBSCO], Access Science, Applied Science & Technology Source [EBSCO], Computer Science [Gale], Information Science & Library Issues Collection [Gale], JSTOR, and Vocations and Careers [Gale]. In addition to the online databases, our library offers access to over 70,000 streaming videos provided by Academic Video Online and reference works such as Britannica Academic

The Library also subscribes to EBSCO's Academic eBook Collection, which provides 24/7 electronic access to the full-text of over 200,000 books. Of these, more than 4,000 are related to Electronics or Electrical Technology.

Databases are obtained through SUNYConnect, campus-funded subscriptions, and NOVELNY.

The librarians actively work with faculty and consult current reviews and standard bibliographies to select resources for each subject area. Related media holdings are available in the Library.  Additional print and media resources to support the program will be purchased immediately once a need is identified.

Professional librarians are available to meet with students via class sessions or one-on-one consultations.
