Your course instructor can arrange to have on-site reference assistance provided by a librarian either before or after one of your class sessions.
We provide delivery service of books to the Elmira Academic and Workforce Development Center (Welcome Desk) in Elmira. These include items in our collection and items we borrow from other libraries for you.
Create ILLiad account
In order to request an item, you need to create an ILLiad Account by going to First Time User Registration if you have not already created one.
Choose your delivery location when you fill out this form. The two locations that books are delivered to are the SUNY CCC Library on Spencer Hill or the Elmira Academic and Workforce Development Center in Elmira.
Once your delivery location has been selected, all items you request will be delivered to this location only. If you need to change locations in the future, use the Change User Information link within your ILLiad account.
Request a Book
Books can be requested from the SUNY CCC library or from Interlibrary Loan. The procedure is the same for either option.
Print materials may be placed on Reserve for classes at the Elmira Center. Instructors should contact the Library for more information.
Do you want your students to learn more about library resources and research techniques? A librarian will be happy to meet with your class! We can provide basic library skills instruction, or customize our presentation to fit a specific assignment. Instruction sessions typically take place in the Library presentation room (LIB009), but we can also come to you. Please schedule library instruction sessions as far in advance as possible, and if you want an assignment-specific presentation, provide us with a copy of the assignment.
Contact us at (607) 962-9251 or firstname.lastname@example.org (subject line: Library Instruction) for further assistance.
