Area Chambers of Commerce are a great place find information on regional business trends and news. Chambers are not government agencies - they are made up of local business people. Look for news and member directories to see what kind of businesses are active in the area, and what might be on the horizon.

- Occupational Outlook HandbookThe Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. It is revised every two years.
- U.S. Department of Labor - Job CorpsJob Corps is the largest nationwide residential career training program in the country and has been operating for more than 50 years. The program helps eligible young people ages 16 through 24 complete their high school education, trains them for meaningful careers, and assists them with obtaining employment. Job Corps has trained and educated over two million individuals since 1964.
